“MySurvey is the world’s No.1 Paid Survey Site,” at least that is what they say.
Judging from how long they have been in existence, they might have a point.
MySurvey is a survey site that offers online surveys that pay in points which you can then redeem for cash, gift cards or many other things. Survey sites that pay in points are popular with many people as you have a lot of options available with the points and with MySurvey you can even convert the points to cash.
MySurvey.com is an online paid surveys community where consumers influence future products and services by volunteering to participate in consumer research, such as online surveys, diaries and product tests. Consumer research is discovering what people want and need by asking for opinions about products and services through surveys and product testing.
Below is my MySurvey review, which is summarized from various sources: information obtained from the MySurvey website, feedback obtained from MySurvey users of the site, and my own thorough research.
Please give your feed back below if there is something on your mind, or if you have something to say about this survey company.

Payment means: Points. (Points expire after 2 years if not redeemed)
Additional ways to earn: Diaries may occasionally be sent to members to record specific behavior or habits. Products may be mailed to members’ home address for product testing. Mini-polls are done. Referrals can be done. Monthly sweepstakes entries.
Amount per survey: Amount earned depends on length of surveys and successful completion thereof, and the difficulty level of the survey, but will usually be between 10 and 1000 points per survey.
Payment minimum: 1000 points ($10) minimum required before redeeming for a reward.
How you get paid: Redeem points for items within their online rewards catalog, such as products, gift cards, e-certificates, vouchers, donations, sweepstakes, and cash. Amazon gift cards and PayPal cash are the most popular choices, but you can also choose Macy’s and Bloomin’ Brands Gift Cards among others. Point amounts vary per reward chosen.
When you get paid: You can redeem at any time after you reach the minimum requirement of 1000 points, but after redeeming it takes between 8 and 14 days to receive the reward.
Sign up bonus: None.
Other information: MySurvey credits points to your account very quickly after completing a survey, but points to be credited for other activities can take a little longer; with referrals it can take up to 3 months to show up in your account.
MySurvey.com do not like it if you ignore them, but I thought I would let a section I found in their ‘Points Official Rules’ page explain more:
“New panel members who do not respond to their first survey invitation (sent via email shortly after joining) or any of the reminders will be assumed to have registered in error. Membership will be deactivated and Points will be forfeited 2 weeks after the third email. Other panel members who have not responded to five or more consecutive survey notifications will be contacted via email to ascertain their interest in continuing membership. If no response is obtained from the panelist within 2 weeks of notification, MySurvey.com will assume the member wishes to cease participation, the membership will be deactivated and all Points will be forfeited.”
The monthly sweepstakes are for 10,000 points which one person could win.
How you get notified: Receive notification from MySurvey per e-mail of available surveys. Also when logging in to your account.
Frequency of surveys: Invitations for surveys are quite high with this site and some panel members report that they receive about 12 invitations per month. The frequency of invitation will of course be different from person to person, and will depend on your demographics.
Survey Lengths: Depends on the length and complexity of the survey, but usually stated as between 5 and 20 minutes. Most surveys are short and interesting to do.
Type of Surveys available: Online surveys, Product testing, Mobile surveys, Webcam surveys.
How often do you qualify: It is unlikely that you will qualify for all surveys for which you receive invitations, so it is normal that you sometimes get rejected for surveys that you are invited to. They have something different from other sites, where they ask you pre-screening questions before each survey to see if you qualify. These pre-screening questions are similar to profile surveys you get on other sites. The good thing is; you still get some points even if you do not qualify.
Registration with MySurvey is free like with any legitimate market research site. You will complete a registration form and not profile surveys, and after submitting and activating your email address you will start receiving surveys to complete for points. The company also has good customer service and a survey help desk that is easily assessable.
MySurvey.com actually started back in 1946 under the name National Family Opinion, NFO and TNS. The current MySurvey.com website was created in 2001, and they have come a long way since then by rewarding their worldwide members a total of $16,370,839 in 2013. MySurvey is one of the world’s largest consumer panels and are regarded as one of the premiere global providers of marketing information to major corporations worldwide, such as Ad Council and USA Today.
The reviews found on the web seem predominantly positive and panel members are generally happy with this site and with the payments they receive. Please leave your comments below if you are having problems with this site or if you have anything to add.
The company and site is definitely legit. If I was able to join this site, (they don’t serve my country) I would definitely join them. Like I said it before; one survey site is not going to make you rich. It’s all the little amounts that add up to give you that little extra money that we can all do with, and the more sites you join the better.
I am not a huge fan of point’s sites, but the fact that they have been established for so many years, and that you can still convert your points to cash, makes it a no brainer. If I can put it in a little more perspective; mysurvey.com has been around so long that their first surveys were actually done by paper mail, because there was no internet yet.
I can recommend joining mysurvey.com because of the above and because they have a proven payment track record. You have to however make your own decision and I can not decide for you.
I hope you found this Mysurvey Review helpful, and that you found the information you were looking for. It will be appreciated if you can also rate this survey site on the above rating system, to assist other users.
Final verdict: Legit and worth joining.
